If you own a car in Perth, head to the vehicle licensing webpage to check if your vehicle license is up for renewal.
Because if you:
1. Did not receive your renewal letters and
2. Missed all the reminder letters
You might find yourself in court. Or better yet [seriously] only have to pay a $100ish fine.
And if you have to pay a fine or head to court, you will still have to:
1. Call the inspection centre to book a car inspection or
2. Wait in the line at the "first come first serve" inspection centre. If it opens at 7.30am, be there at 6.30am so you can get in line to have your car inspected and [hopefully] be approved by that morning so you can drive it again.
Oh yeah, you will also need to pay a temporary permit in order to legally drive your car to the inspection centre. It only costs $21. On top of the $90 inspection fee.
Now we all know.
Here's to paying fines... for late payments.
