Soul searching

I was wandering around the streets of Adelaide city this morning and for some reason, I started to reflect on my life. I guess it is every traveler's tale of realising how much or how little you have when you step outside of your normal routine.

It made me want to change my wardrobe colours. So I ended buying two pairs of shoes. One red and one purple.

It also made me feel like a change of scenery. Not so much a change of location but a change in the way I see and do things. Like starting up a new routine. Heading out for coffee. Or getting my hair done. Dressing up. Decorating my room.

Buying a house.

I know, the last one is mad but I want a house that I can call my own. I want a room decorated with the things that I love. I want to paint the walls bright yellow. With red polka-dots. I want a place with massive windows so that I can pull back the blinds and let the sun shine. I want a beautiful jarrah porch. A garden.

All things possible in due time.
