Huduyudu

I went to Mullaloo today.

I had not intended on driving that far North but having missed my turn off the freeway, I thought it would only make sense to then find a nice sounding exit.

Note that I did have [some form of] a plan. I wanted to go to the beach. And I wanted to go Northwards.

This time I brought a new book with me. Actually, it is Glenn's book. He saw that I was reading Carlos Ruiz Zafon's "Shadow of the Wind" and mentioned that he had another book written by the same [brilliant] author. He was happy to dig it up from his archive boxes as he had just recently moved. I almost squealed with glee.

Thank-ze Eunice for refueling my reading addiction.

I can get so engrossed in a book that everything around me disappears. It is almost as if the world pauses while I escape silently into the world of books. And when I stopped today, to look up and breathe, I... my whole body just went ahh...

From the sand. The shifting sand formed by the tenacious ocean breeze which sweeps up the waters into waves, transferring its energies with such [oomphy] fervor. To the clouds that form shadows on the waters and sand. To the sun... peeking through from time to time to put a smile on my face.

I took the Ocean Reef Road exit.

Here's to the ahhs and oomphs of today.
