People view and deal with situations differently.
Some people tell it like the Grimm Brothers. There is no happy ending. Every. Single. Time.
Others worry about the multitude of possibilities that might occur. This overwhelms them with worry and they do whatever they can to prepare for the worst.
The next time I am faced with a challenging situation, I want to [in no particular order]:
1. release the tension that it is causing within me. Be it through dance, music, stretching, yawning, breathing or writing about it
2. give it time
3. find a solution
4. stop imagining ridiculous "what ifs" outcomes
5. be kind to myself
6. go easy on those involved or around me
7. speak with love
8. know that I will get through it
9. trust and have faith in others
10. go gentle on my emotions
11. not sweat the small stuff
12. know when to accept it for what it is. And not let it implode silently within my head.
13. focus on the goals
14. make things work even if it means stepping outside of my comfort zone
15. be okay with silence
16. not cause a scene
17. believe in myself and let go of my insecurities
18. recognise, acknowledge and notably accept a well reasoned argument when presented with one
To keeping it cool.
