I ovenbaked some chicken wings for dinner. Soya sauce, maggi chilli sauce and fried chicken batter. Mixed it all up and then popped the chicken in the oven. Played some classic hits from the 90s to keep myself entertained. And half an hour later, dinner was ready.
After dinner and after some "window shopping" at Ikea, my sis and I went to Leederville. Browsed about the shops along Oxford Street and then we went to San Churros for our chocolate fix. We ordered churros for two ($13.90), affogato for me ($5?) and a mocha frappe for Cynthia ($5.90).

What I particularly enjoyed about the affogato, aside from the way the heavenly sweet and creamy vanilla ice cream mixed really well with the bitter shot of coffee, is the way the cup was designed.

There's a little bump near the bottom of the cup holder and it acts as a block so when you hold the cup, it sits snugly at a perfect affogato cup drinking angle.

Top notch thinking San Churro cup designer person. Mmm... Here's to winding down for the weekend!
Ohhh this is making me drool. I should go out for coffee more often - the problem is that I live in Helsinki, Finland, and people here don't seem to think that you "do" anything to coffee except drink it! My kingdom for a good latte or cappuccino... you're lucky to live in a creative coffee country ;)
ReplyDeleteI like the way you put it Elisa. A creative coffee country :)
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy the good old "just drink it" coffee. The smell, the taste, the texture, the fluffy white frothy designs on top...
But coffee has lasting effects on me. I could not sleep a wink that night after San Churros [insert extremely tired morning after face here].
Helsinki, Finland. Sounds like a wonderfully green country.
