Early Mornings
I opened the house door at 4.17 this morning to find Charlie, the dog and its owner standing outside my house. Or about a couple of metres away from my house [so it does not sound as creepy]. My heart nearly jumped out of its skin and did a runner on me. Who takes their dog for a walk at such an incredulous hour in the morning? I guess my neighbour does.
Socks
On my flight back from site today, the flight attendant was telling one of the passengers to put his shoes back on and that he can take them off again when the plane is in the air. Meaning that he needs to have his shoes on during take off and landing. She had informed him this during take off.
As we were about to land, I could see him peering behind and then comfortably putting his feet up on the passenger hand rest in front of him. Him and his dark blue socks.
I could only hope and pray that his feet did not stink. For the sake of the guys sitting next to him.
Emotions
I have been on an emotional roller coaster ride. And it went downhill yesterday when my integrity, my value-bringing, my whole role was being questioned. It was cleared up in the end because of a misunderstanding on the other party but it left me in tears.
Exhausted
I am tired. A lot of positive things have been happening in my life but I would like to just press the pause button and take a snooze.
Here's to the special people.
