I am seeing the doctor on Wednesday so hopefully he will be able to give me an expert opinion on why the nails are not growing. Unless little pixies have been sneaking into my room and doing me the bid of cutting my toe nails. That thought does not help me because I am paranoid as is about not being able to cover my feet. And it does take an extra effort to cover one with a cast.
Anyway, I will take it as a gracious hint from my body. That they are being extremely lenient with me so I do not have to struggle with cutting my toe nails. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you have spent the last however long it has taken you to get to this point, to read about me and my toe nails.
Now that right there, is love. And the longest blog title ever.
Here's to my 1,012th blog post.
I recently had the same foot problem you do. The podiatrist surgeon told me the toe nails won't grow because the foot and body are focusing on healing the bone in the foot. When the healing reaches a certain point, the foot and body will discontinue their focused efforts and return to normal. So when your toe nails begin to grow again, your foot is well on its way to being healed.
ReplyDeleteIt is such a relief to know that the non-growth of the toe nails is normal.
ReplyDeleteAnd I just checked - they are growing again.
Grindy, you have just made my day!
Thank YOU!
