Bridesmaids be made

I can finally conclude that I am not a girly girl.

First things first, I usually wear what I feel like wearing. Whatever suits my mood. Be it a green dress with white polkadots and red shoes when I feel artsy. Black top and skirt with a grey jumper when I want to cover up and still feel chic. Off shoulder bright orange top with 3/4 gypsy pants and ballet shoes when I am out and about under the sun. Whatever rocks my boat.

But I have never worn a satin dress. Let alone a champagne coloured anything. And shoes! Oh mah, I have been to so many shoe stores searching high and low for shoes that match.

And I must be colour blind when it comes to satin shoes because I could not find anything that matched. So I bought champagne coloured shoes! And a matching champagney gold coloured clutch purse. I am totally champagned out!

And I have a custom made dress for the wedding reception. My first red dress! Which I have yet to find accessories for. I need to get a shimmery gold teardrop necklace, matching belt and earrings.

I am so tired.

But I am also really enjoying this. The amazing race [hunt] for the perfect matching accessory[ies]. Quite rewarding when I find something that I have been looking for.

One more day of shopping and that is it. I am going up on site on Thursday and getting my hair done on Friday. And for the rest of the time, I want to focus on the wedding. On the fact that one of my best gurlfriends is getting married! And I know that it will be beautiful.
