As we are both shopaholics [incognito], we can wander around the shops for hours without feeling tired. Or bored.
At times, he would do a "boogey on down" dance and I would just stand there and laugh.
It is nice to have someone to shop with.
But tonight, I was shopping for Christmas presents so it was good that I shopped on my own. The boy was at work.
Managed to pick up the item that I had placed on hold earlier this week. The guy at the counter gift wrapped it for me too. Bonus!
I tried on a couple of dresses but there was always something that did not look right. The skirt was either too short (although it has a great design) or the back of the dress was too tight looking. Or the cut of the top front of the dress showed too much skin.
And when I finally found a dress with the perfect cut, the belt that it was meant to come with was missing. Maybe I will look in the city tomorrow to check if the same shop has the dress.
I called Loz "mate" today.
To give you a bit of a background, I usually say "yeah maaaate" in an extremely exaggerated Australian [supposed] accent to tease my friends but I do it so often that it has become a habit.
[insert laughter here]
So wrong.
