E-Fever

I think I have what some would call a too good of a [really unhealthy] relationship with the computer. I have just spent the last six hours facing the monitor/tv screen.

Colleague: So what did you do on your day off?
Me: *pretends not to hear and walks away in shame*

But of course, I would not do that.

Me: Oh, I had a pretty chilled out one. You know, just lazed about and did nothing.
Colleague: Yeah, you need one of those days now and again.

Except that those days are more frequent now. Not that it is a bad thing. It is simply different.

Maybe it is a progression of age. Maybe I am just comfortable being at home in my jammys all day long. Or maybe I need to find new avenues to socia-meh-lise.

In saying that, I have been spending a lot of time researching for my trip to America which is happening in two weeks time. Insert [woot woot] here. So I would say the time was well spent. For a worthy cause.

Los Angeles - New Orleans - Miami - New York - Las Vegas - San Francisco

A worthy cause indeed.

And Gene has been very patient with me. We both have our quirks and eccentricities when it comes to travel planning but we have managed to find places that we both like. Airbnb has certainly saved us a whole heap of financial burdens on accommodation.

Coupons, thanks to Gene's earnest search, make a world of a difference.

As for life in general, I have [as of late] been very appreciative of the comforts around me. Not having to hunt for food. Roof over my head. Feet that are on the mend. A healthy heart and body.
